You can send alerts from Honeybadger to AlertOps using our Generic Rest API. The AlertOps and Honeybadger integration allows you to automatically open and close alerts sent from Honeybadger.
In AlertOps, you can craft a custom message to be sent out with the alerts using any field from the inbound JSON. AlertOps’ advanced mapping field allows you to create long or short message callbacks to Honeybadger. AlertOps allows you to map any inbound field to a custom field with our mapping and advanced mapping feature.

In our mapping, topics route to different teams based on the incident. This works best for large teams, which have several smaller teams to route alerts from the same source to different teams.
AlertOps’ workflows allow you to manage your service level by sending reminders to the incident owners at regular intervals or send reminders based off a SLA. Workflows allow you to trigger notifications to systems and people. You can also trigger other flows to change the control process needed to resolve a major incident. Also, with AlertOps’ mapping we can use Honeybadger’s fault ID to custom fields to close the alerts.
