AlertOps will then consult the team’s on-call schedule and alert the primary on-call person using voice, text and email. AlertOps will use the team’s on-call schedule if the primary person does not take the assignment, alerting each person until the alert is answered. In HipChat a user can take an assignment, and when they do AlertOps will update the incident in your service desk and show the assignment. When an incident is closed in HipChat, AlertOps will close the incident in your service desk.
